Dr Jeremy Pilch – Head of the School of Theology at St Mary’s University, London, and Senior Lecturer in Theology

Dr Jeremy Pilch is Head of the School of Theology at St Mary’s University, London, and Senior Lecturer in Theology. He has lectured across a range of topics, including Theological Anthropology, Christian Ethics, Christian Spirituality, and Eastern Christianity and currently teaches module on Systematic Theology, Ecclesiology, and Mariology at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

His monograph ‘Breathing the Spirit with Both Lungs’: Deification in the Work of Vladimir Solov’ev was published by Peeters in 2018. He has also had a number of articles and book chapters published on themes relating to Russian religious thought, ecclesiology and spiritual theology. He is currently working on two further monographs: the first focusing on the theology of deification in Catholic theology in the century preceding ressourcement and the second focusing on the Russian Orthodox diaspora and the influence of eastern Christianity on Catholic theology in the half-century prior to Vatican II.

Conference 5: The Doctrine and Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Fr Frederick William Faber

Fr Thomas Lynch – Priest of the Archdiocese of Southwark

Fr Thomas Lynch was brought up in South West London, took his first degree at the University of Kent at Canterbury. He was ordained in 2013, having studied for the priesthood at the Pontifical English College, Valladolid, and St. John’s Seminary, Wonersh. His priesthood has largely been spent in the parochial ministry across the archdiocese. He is currently Parish Priest of the Church of Our Ladye, Star of the Sea, Greenwich.

Conference 6: Devotion to the Immaculate Heart in the Works of Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort and False Marian Devotion

Fr Etienne Richer – Dean of the Faculty of Canon Law Touluse

Born in Poitiers (France) in 1960, Fr. Étienne RICHER is a Brother of the Community of the Beatitudes since 1985 and a priest since 1992. He founded the Community in Czechoslovakia in 1991. He has taken on various local and provincial responsabilities within his community, and was Assistant General from 2005 to 2010. He holds a doctorate in spiritual theology (Teresianum, Roma, 2004) and in canon law (Toulouse, France, 2016), and is currently Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Canon Law at the Institut Catholique de Toulouse (France) while continuing to teach theology. He is Director of the Bulletin de Littérature Ecclésiastique (university journal of the Institut Catholique de Toulouse), and President of the Société Française d’Études Mariales (SFEM) since autumn 2029. He devoted his doctoral thesis in spiritual theology te the doctrine of Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, which led him to take a keen interest in Marian theology.

Fr. Seitz studied at the seminary of the Order Institutum Sapientiae in Anapolis Brazil after which he was ordained a priest in 2002. His first mission after ordination was to Detroit for a pastoral year at Assumption Grotto Parish. Thereafter he has been giving retreats and conferences throughout the United States. He also served several years as superior of the community in the US and as national director of the Opus Angelorum apostolate.

Conference 7: Theological Foundations of the Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in St John Henry Newman

Fr Richard Duffield CO –  Provost of the Oratory in York. Founding member of the Oxford Oratory.

Fr Richard Duffield is the Provost of the Oratory in York and Chaplain to the University. After a degree in English at Oxford he joined the Birmingham Oratory in 1986. He studied Philosophy at the Angelicum University in Rome and Theology at the Studium of the English Dominicans at Blackfriars in Oxford. Fr Richard was a founding member of the Oxford Oratory where he was Parish Priest and Novice Master. He was Provost of the Oratory in Birmingham from 2009 until 2011 and Actor of the Cause for the John Henry Newman’s Canonisation in the period leading up to the Beatification by Pope Benedict XVI at Cofton Park in Birmingham in September 2010.

Conference 8: Saint Joseph: a Model of Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Among the Saints

Prof. Vincenzo Tamma – Professor of Physics & Quantum Technology

Vincenzo Tamma holds a personal chair professorship in Physics and Quantum Technology and is the Founding Director of the Quantum Science and Technology Hub at the University of Portsmouth (UoP), including academic staff across different disciplines as well as outstanding collaborators across the world. He is internationally recognised as a leader in quantum optics and quantum technologies.

He held national and international prestigious roles as a panel member and project reviewer for funding agencies, regular referee for high-impact journals, editor, invited external examiner, and chair for international conferences.

His research on quantum multi-particle interferometry has been triggering experiments worldwide and has boosted novel approaches to quantum computing and quantum sensing with available experimental resources.

He has led international collaborations across three continents, including numerous impactful publications and several press highlights.

He is also active in work at the intersection between science and faith as member of the Dialogue with Sectors Board at the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth (recently organized symposiums: “Science and Religion,” “Politics and Religion,” “What Does It Mean to Be Human? Medical Ethics and Social Care Today.”) and Fellow at the Advanced School for Interdisciplinary Research, University of the Holy Cross in Rome.

He has been organizing widely attended public talks featuring leading scientists from various disciplines, international conferences, as well as delivering about 100 invited lectures and public talks at prestigious conferences and research institutions across Europe, North and South America, and Asia, with numerous extended academic visits worldwide.

Conference 9: The Immaculate Heart of Mary and Eucharistic Worship in Sister Lucia

Fr Fidelis Stockl ORG – Order of the Holy Cross

Fr. Fidelis Stoeckl, ORC, (baptismal name: Johannes Maria) was 10 born on July 16, 1962 in Munich (Bavaria), as the second child of Hans Joachim Stoeckl and Theresia Heinrich. He has two sisters Theresia and Bernadette.

When he was 18 years he joined the community of the Canons Regular of the Holy Cross. After completing the Novitiate he was sent to Rome to the Angelicum for his philosophical and to Brazil for his theological studies. There he was ordained a priest on Feb. 2, 1989.

After his ordination he served as a formator at the Monastery St. Petersberg in Austria and since 1994 as a missionary in the Philippines. In 2002 he obtained the doctoral degree from the Pontifical University of Santo Tomas in Manila for his dissertation on “Mary, Model and Mother of the Consecrated Life. A Marian synthesis of the theology of the consecrated life based on the teachings of John Paul II”.

In 2003 he was appointed lecturer of dogmatic and spiritual theology at the Institutum Sapientiae in Anapolis Brazil. Since then he divided his time between his assignments in Brazil and in the Philippines.

In 2007 he was definitively transferred to Brazil where he served as lecturer of theology at the Institutum Sapientiae and at the catholic faculty in Anapolis, as spiritual director in the diocesan seminary, as preacher of spiritual retreats and in the youth and vocations ministry.

In December 2025, he was transferred to Our Lady of the Angels House in Fátima where he currently serves as confessor of the Shrine of Our Lady of Fátima and in the specific mission of the Order of Holy Cross and the Work of Holy Angels.
